California Classic Half Marathon
About this race
Join us in celebrating our 15th year when we host runners in our Half Marathon, 10k and 5k Run as half and 10k participants run through Sea Lion Cove, African Adventure and NEW KINGDOM OF ASIA at Fresno Chaffee Zoo, with a grand finish at Chukchansi Stadium. Or choose our Rock and Run 5k, it doesn't go through the Zoo, but has all of the other benefits of the Half Marathon.
The Half Marathon is a 20 point race in the CLASSIC Runner of the Year Series!

Half Marathon
This event starts at Chukchansi Park and does go through the Zoo and then finishes along home plate inside of Chukchansi Stadium.
10k Run
This event does go through the Zoo and Finishes along home plate inside of Chukchansi Stadium. Participants will be shuttled from Chukchansi Park to the 10k Start line inside of Roeding Park. 10k finisher's will receive ALL the amenities that our half marathon participants receive including our custom finisher's medallion.
5k Run
Family event - Running or Walking through Downtown Fresno. This event does not go through the Zoo but does Finish along home plate inside of Chukchansi Park. 5k finisher's will receive ALL the amenities that our half marathon participants receive including our custom finisher's medallion.
Classic Virtual - Run
Virtual runs are events that you do on your own schedule and your own course. You will not be eligible for any awards. Your results are not official and are not posted. Your event shirt and finisher's medal will be mailed to you automatically within 2 weeks after the event.
