Virtual - 100 mile Challenge
2022 TEAM CHALLENGE UPDATE - This year we will be giving the officers a break and having our 4 Michigan camps compete! Anyone can join each Camp/Team to add miles to their total. It is free to participate in the 100 mile challenge but donations are still accepted and encouraged. You can also purchase a shirt & medal to wear on all those runs/walks. Participants must log their miles as the month goes along (no sandbagging). Miles done during standard daily activities does not count (mowing, walking to your desk, etc.). These miles must be intentionally added for Camp Quality! So if you always drive a golf cart and walk the course instead, that is completely acceptable mileage. The camp/team with the most CUMULATIVE miles at the end of the month will win a pizza party for all the kids and volunteers at camp in 2023 and will get that camp name on the Security Credit Union/Metro Police trophy!!
5k Run
This run will have a soft start on September 11, 2022 at the Flushing County Park. Runners can start anytime between 10 & 1030 am. The chip time will start as soon as they cross the start line!

Kids Run - 1/2 mile
This is not a chip timed event but we will have an additional time clock for this event for kids to track the yearly times! Age limit on this event is 12 years old. Parents/guardians are free to join the little ones during the Fun Run at no cost. The Fun Run will start after all the runners/walkers have left at 10:30 am.
