Camp Runabout: June -
About this race
Camp Runabout
A Little Running. A Lot of Fun.
Camp Runabout is the all-inclusive summer camp you didn’t know you needed—created for adults who love to move, laugh, and connect (runners and non-runners alike). Held in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, it’s three days of fresh air, new friends, and unforgettable fun.
Your mornings start with scenic group runs (or solo hikes, or sleeping in—you do you). Your days are wide open for classic camp adventures—think zip lining, paddleboarding, kayaking, ropes courses, arts & crafts, and more. And your nights? Filled with bonfires, inspiring speakers, live music, and a legendary theme party.
Nothing’s mandatory. Everything’s unforgettable.
Here’s what’s included:
- Lodging in cozy cabins (private rooms available)
- All meals, snacks, and breakfast mimosas
- Dietary accommodations for all
- Open bar during happy hour, dinner, and evening entertainment
- Nationally recognized speakers
- Fitness classes (yoga, bootcamp, Zumba & more)
- Campfire s’mores, DJs, and nightly fun
- Endless camp activities—do it all, or do your own thing
- Massage therapy is available on-site for $30 per half hour if you feel like treating yourself.
At Camp Runabout, we believe movement should be joyful, community should be welcoming, and summer should always include a little magic. Whether you’re a runner, a walker, or just someone who loves the outdoors and a good laugh—you belong here.

Cabin
Your Home Away From Home Our cabins are clean, spacious, and equipped with modern features—so while you're not roughing it, it’s still summer camp! Expect communal sleeping arrangements with bunk beds and individual cubbies for your belongings. Each cabin includes its own showers, toilets, sinks, and electrical outlets for your essentials. Please note that our cabins are not climate-controlled, but June and September in the Pocono Mountains are typically mild. Nights can get cool, so we recommend bringing a sleeping bag or extra blanket for added comfort. We'll also have a limited number of extra blankets available if needed. Coming with friends? Awesome. You can request to bunk together by giving your group a name when prompted during registration. Just make sure everyone in your party uses the same name—we’ll do the rest! By default, cabins are single-gender, but we’re happy to make exceptions for mixed-gender groups upon request. Just email us at info@camprunabout.com to arrange it. Group discount alert! If you’re coming with four or more people, reach out to us for a special promo code.
Private Room
Private Rooms If you're coming to camp with a friend or loved one and want a little more privacy, a private room might be the perfect fit. Each room is furnished with either a queen bed or two twin beds—and while we only have a limited number available, they’re a great option for those looking for a quieter retreat. If you're interested, we recommend booking early before they fill up. Please Note: Our private rooms vary in size—some are cozy, others more spacious. Some rooms have their own bathroom, while others share a bathroom with one neighboring private room. We can’t guarantee a specific room layout, but we’ll make sure you're comfortable.
