5K Run
The 5K course is USATF (#IL-17036-WR) certified entirely on Cantigny grounds and a blacktop surface. The race starts at the Visitors Center and proceeds out onto the rolling hills of the Cantigny Golf course and back to the Visitors Center. Participants will run past the First Division Museum, The McCormick House, and finish by running through Cantigny Gardens to the Visitors Center. The portion on the golf course will be run on the cart paths. Digital clocks or timers will be located at mile markers. Water stations will be set up at the halfway mark and at the start/finish line.
Youth Run (ages 6-10)
The Youth Run is for children ages 6 to 10 and the Tot Run is for children ages 1 to 5. Races will start following the 5K Run/Walk award ceremony. Youth Run is 1-mile in length and the Tot Run is 1/4-mile. Only the Youth Run will be chip timed. Registration will close when the 5K Run/Walk registration closes.
