Carmel Marathon Presented by Franciscan Health

The specially designed 26.2 mile USATF certified course is flat and fast! Enjoy the first 13 miles with the half marathoners on easy, flat roads as you run the start/finish celebration area. The second half takes you on a long, shaded paved park trail slightly downhill before you circle back to return to the Carmel Arts and Design District, and the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts. Over 24% of our finishers ran BQ times in 2021

Carmel Half Marathon

As the one of the top-5 largest half marathons in Indiana, the Carmel Half Marathon will not disappoint! The course is fast and festive as you will run the entire 13.1 miles with the marathoners. Perfect training run for those signed up for a spring marathon. Cash purse + age group awards three deep helps make this a fun competitive event. It will sell out.

Indiana Spine Group 10K

The 10K starts with the 5K the splits after mile one. The first half has a few hills but the second half of the 10K is fast. Save your strength and enjoy the strong finish to the finish line. Age group awards for the top 3 in each age group.

Indiana Members Credit Union 5K

The IMCU 5K has become a must run in the Spring! The 5K and 10K start together and split after mile 1 navigating through Mid Town until you reach the Monon Greenway. Then you follow the same course back to the finish line as all the rest.

Indiana Members Credit Union 5K - 13 & Under

4-person Marathon Relay + Driver

Four-person relay teams will exchange near the 6.55-mile mark, the start/finish line (mile 13.1) and the 19.65-mile mark. Teams must provide a driver to transport their team's runners to/from the 6.55- and 19.65-mile exchange points. The driver and all four runners will receive a finisher's medal. Runners must be 11 years of age or older be to participate in the relay.

WAITLIST - Carmel Marathon Presented by Franciscan Health

The 2023 Carmel Marathon Presented by Franciscan Health is now sold out. While the full marathon has hit its capacity limit, a waitlist option is available for $20. This fee will be applied to the marathon registration fee if approved. Interested participants on the waitlist will have 72 hours to respond to the registration approval or will lose their spot in line. The deferral fee is nonrefundable regardless of approval into the marathon. Deferrals will also be available for $25 for those who would like to transfer their registration to the 2024 event (full or half marathon only).
