Carson Valley Turkey Trot Fun Run
About this race
Join us for the 9th Carson Valley Turkey Trot. This fun run takes place in the beautiful Carson Valley, starting at Minden Park in downtown Minden. Trot through this picturesque downtown neighborhood as a fun way to start the Thanksgiving holiday. In addition to the in-person fun run on Thanksgiving morning, children 12 and under can participate in the Turkey Dash or skip the in-person events altogether- and opt for the virtual race to run on your own schedule. If race is full, same day registration will be available. T-shirt and swag bag as available.
Join fellow runners on November 28, 2024 for the Carson Valley Turkey Trot Fun Run. It's a fantastic 5K, 0.3K featuring a flat and fast course in Minden.

Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
Swag Bag is available to Pick up at The Food Closet the week prior. (See dates and times ). If unable to pick up week prior, SWAG pick from 730am 08:45am day of Event. The Turkey Trot is a 5k fun run through the neighborhood of downtown Minden. Each participant receives a swag bag, t-shirt, race bib, medal, and Turkey Trot flare. Runners may bring their well-behaved dogs on leash and kids in strollers. No bikes, scooters, or other similar modes of transportation.
Kid's Turkey Dash
Swag Bag is available to Pick up at The Food Closet the week prior. (See dates and times ). If unable to pick up week prior, SWAG pick from 730am 08:15am day of Event. The Turkey Dash is perfect for kids 12 and under. Each participant receives a small swag bag, trophy, and race bib. Racers run a lap (or more) around Minden Park with the help of the Thanksgiving Turkey and Snoopy.
Virtual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk
Complete the 5k Turkey Trot fun run on your time anytime between November 1st -28th. Runners can pick up a swag bag 11/18th -11/26 at The Food Closet. Choose your own course, run in pieces, or complete the Turkey Trot course as your time allows.
