Pre-Race Packet-Pick-Up will be held FRIDAY, May 2nd from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM at Big Peach Running Co.

6:15 PM   Event Opens       (Registration. Music!  People having fun.) 

7:40PM    Wire2Wire-Wobble®       ( 50 yd. dash - Ages 4&U)   FREE EVENT  ♥

7:45PM    1 Mile       (Run/Walk....Dance?)

8:00 PM   5K Race

9:15PM    Awards Ceremony

5K COURSE: Basically, it's 2 loops* (of 1.5 miles) and finish on the CMS track.  But first, start off with once around the track before heading out.

*Detailed version: You’ll go once around the 400m. track, …then head out, down towards the soccer fields, cross the parking lot, and get on the walking trail, turning left. 

Up at Douthit Ferry Rd., turn left on path and go down to Middle School. Turn left and go around the front of middle school, then through parking lot until you arrive back at the track. 

You’ll repeat that LOOP (about a mile & half).

When you return to the 400m. track, you’ll do a half lap of the track and finish at the 50 yd. line.  Easy money.

PARKING:

Parking available at Cartersville Middle School  825 Douthit Ferry Rd., Cartersville, GA 30120.  Additional overflow parking (requiring only a short walk) is available at Ric Mason soccer fields parking lot (by the Cartersville bus barn), as well as at the Sr. Aquatic Center, and/or Dellinger Park.
