5K
We are excited to debut the newly routed Celebrate! West Hartford 5K course. Located in one of Connecticut’s most picturesque towns, the race starts in the center of West Hartford on South Main Street near the Noah Webster statue. Runners proceed north passing by some of the Town’s historical landmarks, buildings, and homes. The course then turns right onto Craigmoor Road in the heart of one of West Hartford’s quintessential neighborhoods. Runners take another right onto the newly completed paved Trout Brook Trail, where participants will be cheered on by the brook ducks and may even catch a glimpse of the resident eagle. Runners depart the scenic trail at the intersection of Memorial Road, turning right again for a short uphill past the Delamar Hotel before the flat finish between Raymond and Isham Roads. This course is USATF Certified--#CT24001JHP. Runners registered by May 24 are guaranteed a race shirt. Registration and bib numbers are not transferable. Packet pick-up at Fleet Feet on Friday, June 7th from 3-6 PM and Saturday, June 8th from 9 AM-Noon. Race-day registration and packet pick-up is in the Town Hall Parking Lot from 7:30 - 8:30 AM. No animals allowed on the course. Runners pushing strollers are asked to start at the back of the starting line for safety.
