CERC Prediction Run

Join Columbus Eastside Running Club (CERC) as we get the summer training season started with a FREE prediction run at Nocterra Brewing Co.! 

What is a prediction run?

This is not a race. This is a test of self-knowledge. Anyone can win! When you sign up you will provide your best guess as to how long it will take you to compete the course (approximately 3 miles). You can run fast, you can run slow. Your only goal is to get as close as possible to that prediction.

Maybe this doesn't seem that hard without the kicker: NO phones or watches. No timing devices of any sort. That's right, we will tell you with scientific accuracy how dependent you are on your watch.

The prediction run is limited to 200 participants! Sign up now to avoid regrets!

The OFFICIAL RULES:

1. No watches, phones or timekeeping devices
2. No GPS devices (you're gonna have to put this one in Strava manually)
3. Have fun, enjoy running
4. Ties will be broken by the ultimate competition of wits: rock-paper-scissors, best two out of three, go on shoot.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION

Please do not park in the Scioto Audubon Metro Park lots. There is a large parking area outside of Nocterra Brewing. Please reference this picture to find the correct parking area.

8:00-8:50 - Race number pickup/early registration
8:55 - Dynamic warm up
9:00 SHARP - Prediction run
10:00 - Crispy local beverages and delicious brunch at Nocterra
10:30-11:00ish - Results/Awards
