Virtual Runner SHIRT MAILED IN JUNE
**RACE SHIRT NOT MAILED UNTIL JUNE** A great way to support the fight to Defeat DIPG! This option allows you to sign up to support our childhood cancer heroes -- on a team or on your own.
6K Run/Walk
The 6K run/walk is a course on the roads surrounding Westfield Montgomery in Bethesda, MD. This is a timed event with top finisher prizes by age category. Children who register for the 6K may also participate in the 1K Sprint or Tot Sprint at no additional charge. Children who are ages 5 and older who will be participating on the 6K race course should register for the 6K. Race shirts will be distributed at designated Packet Pickup times at Westfield Montgomery on Friday, May 27, and Saturday, May 28.
Kids 1K or Tot Sprint
The 1K and Tot Sprint are kid-friendly "races" at a short distance. Children should be supervised at all times by an adult. The 1K run is an out and back run on the ring road around the mall parking lot. This is not an officially timed event. All kids will receive a medal. For our youngest participants, we will have a very short out and back run that takes place entirely in a side parking lot. This for toddlers. For the safety of the little ones, we will not have older children in this event. All kids will receive a medal. Children who are ages 5 and older who will be participating on the 6K race course should register for the 6K. Children who register for the 6K may also participate in the 1K Sprint or Tot Sprint at no additional charge. Race shirts will be distributed at designated Packet Pickup times at Westfield Montgomery on Friday, May 27, and Saturday, May 28.
Virtual Runner with Shirt
A great way to support the fight to Defeat DIPG! Grab a group of friends wherever you are (following social-distancing guidelines!) and do your own ChadTough Defeat DIPG Superhero Run or Walk! This option includes shipment of a race t-shirt and bib. **PLEASE NOTE the following regarding race shirt mailings** We will begin mailing race shirts to virtual participants at the end of April. We will be working hard to get race shirts mailed out as quickly as possible. Due to uncertainty with the COVID-19 pandemic, and widespread impact with the U.S. Postal Service, we ask for your understanding if there are delays beyond our control.
