A new format is hitting the Northeast paddle scene! The Surfrider Time Trials will debut at The Charles Island SUP Cup Walnut Beach in Milford, Connecticut, introducing a head-to-head race against the clock for stand-up paddleboard (SUP) athletes.

Held the day before the 11th Annual Charles Island SUP Cup, the Time Trials strip racing down to its purest form: one paddler, one course, one clock. Each competitor launches solo at 90-second intervals onto a one-mile course featuring a beach start and finish with a single buoy turn.
