Join fellow runners on November 10, 2018 for the Chesterfield's Heroic Walk, Run & Roll. It's a fantastic 8K, 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Chesterfield & Grand Rapids.

Running
5 Mile Run
The five mile course starts at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans before taking participants south on the Monroe Avenue bike path then north through Riverside Park, exiting the Park at the north end to the Monroe Avenue bike path and north to North Park. Once across North Park, participants will run west across the Veterans Memorial Bridge (North Park Bridge), using the path at the end to loop under the bridge and up on the south side, heading east back across the bridge to Monroe Avenue, south to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans cemetery, and through the cemetery to the finish. Awards will be presented to the top five overall 12 and under boys and girls, top five overall men and women, and top five overall men and women masters participants during the SpartanNash Community Pancake Breakfast.
5K Run
The 5K course starts at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans before heading south on the Monroe Avenue bike path to the Riverside Park Guild Street entrance, and north through the park and the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans cemetery prior to finishing back at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Awards will be presented to the top five overall 12 and under boys and girls, top five overall men and women and top five overall men and women masters participants during the SpartanNash Community Pancake Breakfast.
Walking
.5 Mile Remembrance Walk
All registered participants will begin their untimed event from the Veterans Day 5 starting line at 9:00 am, walking south prior to taking the pathway above Grotto Park to the back entrance of the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans cemetery, through the cemetery and back to the finish line. Since the event is free of charge with no shirt included, a limited number of event shirts will be available for purchase during event check-in/late registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. on November 10 at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Tickets to the SpartanNash Community Pancake Breakfast can also be purchased at that time or at the door for $5/person with all proceeds benefitting the Friends of Michigan Veterans Homes, Inc.

Vets myTeam Triumph 5K
Captains from the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans will be pushed along the 5K course in equipment and by Angels provided through myTeam Triumph - West Michigan Chapter.
