EXTRA MILE YOUTH FALL RUNNING CAMP

THIS 5 WEEK PROGRAM IS A CROSS COUNTRY STYLE CAMP DESIGNED TO TEACH TRAINING PRINCIPLES FOR AGE APPROPRIATE DISTANCES. EACH CAMPER WILL FOCUS ON DRILLS, RUNNING FORM, STRATEGY AND MILEAGE FOR GOAL RACE ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30TH AT CREEKSIDE GOLF COURSE IN VALPARAISO. TRAINING DISTANCES BASED ON AGE: 1K (.6 MILE) – 5 TO 6 YEARS OLD 2K (1.25 MILE) – 7 TO 8 YEARS OLD 3K (1.8 MILE) – 9 TO 12 YEARS OLD COACH SUE BROWN-NICKERSON & COACH NATALIE KRAUSE WILL LEAD THE PROGRAM. CAMP FEE $50.00 INCLUDES: • PRACTICE ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS AT SUNSET HILL COUNTY PARK - 5 P.M.
