Cider Mill Road Race
About this race
The Cider Mill Road Race is a morning of fitness and fun, 3 events: the kids fun runs, the 1 miler, and our 5k race. The Kids Fun Runs start around 9:00 am and are grassy routes set up in the soccer fields. The 1 mile race is a cross-country Cider Mile, a trek through the wooded trails at Crandall Park which starts promptly at 9:45 am. Our final event is the Cider Mill 5K — a closed road race which starts at 10:30am. Prizes are awarded to the top ten finishers of both the 5k and 1 miler (overall). The awards/ceremony will take place in the Pavilion at 11:30am sharp! T-shirts are free to runners who pre-register by 9/06/2025. Pricing will be $12.00 for Kids fun runs & 1 miler (plus a $2.22 processing fee), and $30.00 for 5k (plus a $3.30 processing fee). No race day registration so please register online by Friday night 10/03/25.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS 8:00 AM PRE-RACE REGISTRATION BEGINS UNDER THE PAVILION Entry fee on race day: $11 Cider Kids $11 Cider Mile $25 Cider Mill 5k 8:45 AM CIDER KIDS WARM-UP Warm-up led by the Tolland Elementary School physical education teachers on field next to the pavilion. 9:00AM CIDER KIDS FUN RUN Race 1 – Children up to age 4 Race 2 – Kindergarteners Race 3 – First Graders Race 4 – Second Graders and up 9:30 AM CIDER MILE WARM-UP Warm-up led by the Tolland Middle School physical education teachers. 9:45 AM CIDER MILE FUN RUN Cross-country route through the wooded trails at Crandall Park. 10:30 AM CIDER MILL 5K 3.1 mile race beginning on Cider Mill Road and ending at Crandall Park. 11:30 AM AWARDS CEREMONY
