Cinco de Mile 5K Fun Run for Mental Health Awareness
About this race
Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc., is hosting the Annual Cinco de Mile 5k Fun Run for Mental Health Awareness. This RUN/WALK route starts at 9:00 am at Patton Park on Saturday May 2nd in the heart of the Cinco de Mayo celebrations in Southwest Detroit. Participants receive a T-shirt in Mexican colors in the spirit of Cinco de Mayo holiday, and a registration bag full of promotions and resources. Pets are welcome to join the fun!
Packet pickup is on Race Day at the PATTON PARK registration booth starting at 8:00 a.m.
A portion of the proceeds will help local mental health programs in Metro Detroit.

Route: Around the perimeter of Patton Park Mode: Run/Walk/Jog, Kid-friendly, Pet-friendly Packet pickup: Race day at Patton Park starting at 8am (near the Rec center) Inclement Weather: If weather does not allow for IRL run, we will switch to a Virtual Run and notify participants with instructions to pick-up packets or receive mailed packets.
5K Fun Run-Econo Participant (No T-Shirt)
Econo Participants do need the race T-shirt but still want a finishers medal. Route: Around the perimeter of Patton Park Mode: Run/Walk/Jog, Kid-friendly, Pet-friendly Packet pickup: Race day at Patton Park starting at 8am (near the Rec center) Inclement Weather: If weather does not allow for IRL run, we will switch to a Virtual Run and notify participants with instructions to pick-up packets or receive mailed packets.
