Coach Mike Slinskey's First Birthday in Heaven Challenge
Today we celebrate the life, legacy, and incredible spirit of Coach on what would have been his 57th Birthday.
Coach Mike was known for his dedication and love of running. One of Coach Mike's Legendary Workouts was Running his age he turned on his birthday times 400 meters! In his honor, we're challenging everyone to complete 57x400 from June 10th-June 20th.
The Challenge
Complete 57 x 400 meters in 10 days. (Run it all at once, do a couple laps throughout the 10 days, go on a drive and hit some tracks you have been wanting to run on, gather teammates and friends to join you.) Share your miles, photos, and memories of Coach Mike to Trisha @ 845-728-8830 and we will create a memory book for him to display at his race.
Most importantly, all proceeds and donations from this challenge will go to GlioLeo, helping people in our area to continue to fight against glioblastoma and honoring the legacy of those we've lost.
