About the Event
During the Community First Fox Cities Marathon presented by Miron Construction weekend of events, we bring together thousands of participants, volunteers, spectators, local businesses and community partners at eight events including a marathon, half marathon, relay marathon, 10K, 5K, kids events and an expo.
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Community First Fox Cities Marathon gives back to area non-profits, community partners and running organizations. Over our 34-year history, the event has returned more than $1.3 million to the community.

Running
Kids Fun Run: Mini Dash, 1/4 Mile, or 1/2 Mile
Exercise should be a healthy part of every child’s life; however, we do not believe that young children should have to deal with the stress and pressure that comes with serious competition. The Guardian Kids Fun Run is designed so that every child leaves the event feeling like a winner and sporting a medal. We do not award trophies to the fastest children overall, but rather reward and acknowledge each and every child who comes out and participates. Life is filled with pressure and stress, let’s allow kids to be kids, run and have fun! Event Location: Fox Cities Stadium, 2400 N Casaloma Dr, Appleton, WI 54913
10K Run/Walk
Run, jog or walk the exciting Fleet Feet 10K! A 6.2 mile course, starting and finishing at Riverside Park in Neenah. Not only does the course feature waterfront views, flat terrain and historic neighborhoods, participants finish at the same location as the Sunday Marathon & Half Marathon participants. You’ll experience an energy and excitement unmatched at any other 10K event! All participants will receive their shirt at registration/packet pick-up. Finishers will receive a FINISHERS medal to commemorate their race participation and finish. Post-race refreshments are available to all finishers. The Fleet Feet 10K shares the start and finish with Ascension 5K Run/Walk which is stroller and dog friendly. Start Line & Finish Line: Riverside Park, 500 E. Wisconsin Ave, Neenah, WI 54956
5K Run/Walk
Run, jog or walk the exciting 3.1 mile course, starting and finishing at Riverside Park in Neenah all while raising money for cancer treatment in the Fox Cities! FIGHTING CANCER WITH ST. ELIZABETH HOSPITAL FOUNDATION CANCER FUND $5 of every adult entry benefits the cancer center at St. Elizabeth Hospital and blankets tied pre & post-race by participants provide comfort to those undergoing treatment. Not only does the course feature flat terrain and residential neighborhoods, participants finish at the same location as the Sunday Marathon & Half Marathon participants. You’ll experience an energy and excitement unmatched at any other 5K event! All participants will receive their shirt at registration/packet pick-up. Finishers will receive a FINISHERS medal to commemorate their race participation and finish. Post-race refreshments will also be available to all finishers. The Ascension 5K Run/Walk is also stroller and dog friendly! The little riders and furry friends do not need to be registered. Start Line & Finish Line: Riverside Park, 500 E. Full Marathon Run/Walk
The Community First Fox Cities Marathon features over 8 miles of paved trails including the longest pedestrian bridge in Wisconsin – the 1,600 foot Fox Cities Trestle Trail Bridge, and many more miles of scenic park and waterfront sections. The course begins on Midway Road in Menasha and continues to make its way through six Fox Cities communities before finishing at scenic Riverside Park near downtown Neenah. All participants receive their shirt at registration/packet pick-up. Finishers receive a FINISHER medal to commemorate their race participation and finish! Half Marathon Run/Walk
The ThedaCare Half Marathon course features nearly 3 miles of paved trails including the longest pedestrian bridge in Wisconsin – the 1,600 foot Fox Cities Trestle Trail Bridge, and many more miles of scenic park and waterfront sections of the course! The course begins Menasha and makes its way through four Fox Cities communities before finishing at scenic Riverside Park near downtown Neenah. The 13.1 mile route follows the Marathon course until just before Mile 2 where it splits off on its own before rejoining the last 9 miles of the Marathon to the finish line. The course features rolling terrain with a bridge overpass at Mile 2. All ThedaCare Half Marathon participants receive their shirt at registration/packet pick-up. Finishers receive a FINISHERS medal to commemorate their race participation and finish! Post-race refreshments are available to all finishers. Relay Marathon Run/Walk
Round up your family, friends, or co-workers and get in on the excitement of the Orothpedic & Sports Medicine Specialists Relay Marathon! Relay teams are comprised of 2-5 people, each running one (or more) leg of the race. Relay legs distances vary (see below). Each team has one bib with a timing chip. During their leg of the race, team members will wear the team's bib with timing tag on a belt and will hand off the belt to their teammate at designated Relay Exchange Zones. All Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists Relay Marathon participants receive their shirt at registration/packet pick-up. Finishers receive a FINISHERS medal to commemorate their race participation and finish! Post-race refreshments are available to all finishers. Walking
Half Marathon Competitive Walk
The ThedaCare Half Marathon Competitive Walk course features nearly 3 miles of paved trails including the longest pedestrian bridge in Wisconsin – the 1,600 foot Fox Cities Trestle Trail Bridge, and many more miles of scenic park and waterfront sections of the course! The course begins in Menasha and makes its way through four Fox Cities communities before finishing at scenic Riverside Park near downtown Neenah. The 13.1 mile route follows the Marathon course until just before Mile 2 where it splits off on its own before rejoining the last 9 miles of the Marathon to the finish line. The course features rolling terrain with a bridge overpass at Mile 2. Separate Start Time of 7:05 a.m. All ThedaCare Half Marathon participants receive their shirt at registration/packet pick-up. Finishers receive a FINISHERS medal to commemorate their race participation and finish! Post-race refreshments are available to all finishers.
