About this race
Join us for the COOrageous in Motion walk, a community-powered event for those impacted by cancer, created to support the fighters, admire the survivors, honor the taken, and never, ever give up hope.
Hosted by Coos for Cancer, this walk brings individuals, families, survivors, caregivers, and supporters together because no one fights cancer alone.
Whether you walk to support the cause, for someone currently battling cancer, in honor of a loved one, or to admire a survivor, every step helps sow seeds of hope, strength, and remembrance.
As a 100% volunteer nonprofit rooted in compassion, community, and connection, Coos for Cancer is committed to standing beside those impacted by cancer, offering a different perspective through the therapeutic nature of agriculture while tailoring support to each warrior’s unique journey.
Every registration ages 4 and up includes an official COOrageous in Motion Walk T-Shirt, helping our community wear hope, strength, and remembrance together.
Every participation, sponsorship, and donation keeps COOrageous in Motion, helping us plow through challenges, strengthen connection and community, and remind all that no one walks alone.

Join us for the COOrageous in Motion Walk, a community-powered event created to honor, remember, support, and walk beside those impacted by cancer. Whether you walk 1K, 5K, or simply at your own pace, this day is about coming together — because no one walks alone. Spend the day surrounded by community, hope, and connection while enjoying: • A beautiful farm setting at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park • Community walking paths at your own pace, offering the opportunity to walk at your leisure, complete a 1K or a 5K journey • A Highland cow (“Coo”) encounter and other family-friendly experiences • A corn maze experience, symbolizing how warriors plow through challenges every day with courage and strength • An opportunity to honor warriors, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones Together, we will walk, connect, and create a day rooted in hope, compassion, and community — because no one fights cancer alone. As a reminder of the day and the community walking beside you, registrations for ages 4 and up include an official COOrageous in Motion Walk T-Shirt.
