Join country music star, Army veteran, and proud patriot Craig Morgan for the inaugural Craig Morgan's Veterans Day 5K on November 7 at the iconic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.

This special event celebrates the courage, sacrifice, and service of our nation's veterans while bringing together runners, walkers, active-duty service members, military families, and supporters for an unforgettable morning of community and patriotism.

Whether you're chasing a personal best, honoring a loved one who served, or simply looking for a meaningful way to celebrate Veterans Day weekend, this event offers an experience unlike any other.

Participants will enjoy a professionally timed 5K, commemorative race swag, a patriotic finish line celebration, and opportunities to support organizations dedicated to serving veterans and their families.

  • 9:00 AM – Awards Ceremony
  • 9:30 AM – Post-Race Celebration

Awards

Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, top masters finishers, and top finishers in age group categories.

About Craig Morgan

Singer, author, actor, and soldier Craig Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music hitmaker. Prior to becoming a country music star and TV sensation, Craig spent seventeen years serving our country in the Army and Army Reserve and in 2023 enlisted again in the Army Reserve, continuing his military career as a Chief Warrant Officer 2. His commitment to supporting military members, veterans, and their families has become a cornerstone of his life's work, making this event a fitting tribute to those who have served.

Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, your participation helps honor America's heroes and supports organizations making a difference in the lives of veterans every day.

5k Ruck Division

Rucking Division Rules​​​ To qualify for the competitive rucking division: Participants weighing 149lbs or less, a 10-pound weight is required Participants weighing 150lbs or more, a 20 pound weight is required. Note: Weighted vests and plate carriers are allowed and do qualify. LEOs, Military, and Firefighters in full gear also qualify for the competitive rucking division. The top 3 Ruck finishers that pass all weight requirements will qualify to receive Overall awards. We will weigh your ruck at the finish line of each event. Rucks must remain compliant with the prescribed weight throughout the duration of the race. Want to ruck for fun? We enthusiastically welcome ruckers who choose not to carry the minimum weight requirement to participate in the Savannah River Bridge Run and earn their patch! These participants will skip the weigh-in and will not qualify for award consideration. All participants are required to supply their own rucks and weights.
