About this race

Join us for our first Christmas in July fun 5k run/walk! The race will start and finish at the lower parking lot of the Shamokin Area Elementary School, directly across from Edgewood Swim Club and will start promptly at 8:00AM.  All ages and ability levels are welcome! There will be special surprises around every turn. Prizes given for 1st through 3rd place age-group finishers, along with a "best costume" award for male and female participants. This is more than a race, it is an event for the whole family! We will have food truck vendors, Possum Patty, Christmas karaoke, water play for kids, and more! 

Join fellow runners on July 25, 2026 for the Create Academy's Christmas in July Fun 5K. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Coal Township.
