Dandelion Dash Trail 5K, 1 Mile, and Short Family Fun Run

5K Trail Run or Walk

• Start Time: 9:00 am
• Professionally timed
• Meadow trail, mostly flat with gentle rolling hills
• Swag bag: race T-shirt*, vinyl sticker, and native seed packet
• Custom wooden medals for top finishers and age group winners
• Complimentary Fun Run registration

1 Mile Trail Run or Walk

• Start Time: 10:00 am
• Running clock (not timed)
• Meadow trail, mostly flat with gentle rolling hills
• Swag bag: race T-shirt*, vinyl sticker, and native seed packet
• Complimentary Fun Run registration

Family Fun Run

• Start Time: 10:20 am 
• Less than 1/4 mile
• Fun course geared towards families with young children 
• Finisher ribbon for the kids
• Swag bag: sticker, temporary tattoo, and native seed packet
• All participants (including parents) must register. Participants 2 and under are free through May 13.

5K Virtual Run

• Not located near Petoskey? Participate from afar!
• Swag bag with race T-shirt*, vinyl sticker, and native seed packet. Shipping charges apply.

*Must be registered by May 6 for Race T-shirts

Check-in: You must check in prior to the event. Packet pickup is Friday, May 15 from 3:30-5:30pm at Petoskey Children's Nature Preschool (1804 E Mitchell, Petoskey, MI 49770), or at the event from 8:00-10:00am.

Parking: Petoskey Middle School parking lot

The Fine Print: Children under age 12 must be supervised. Trail-appropriate strollers are allowed for the Family Fun Run only. While we love pets, please leave your dog at home. 

Join fellow runners on May 17, 2025 for the Dandelion Dash Trail 5K, 1 Mile, and Short Family Fun Run. It's a fantastic 5K, 0.8K featuring a flat and fast course in Petoskey.
