About this race

Together we can make a difference in the lives of those affected by DeSanto-Shinawi Syndrome. Join others across the globe to raise critical funding for resources, therapies, and treatments for DESSH Syndrome. The dash is athletic-optional with a focus on fundraising and fun. It can be run, walked, or rolled - whatever mode of transport is preferred. You can set a goal of 1 mile, 3.1 miles (5k), or simply stroll around the neighborhood, you decide! You can meet others at a park, your street corner, the beach, or anywhere. You can go on your own or build a team. Start whenever it is convenient for you between November 7 and November 15, 2026..

We encourage everyone to show your support by wearing our signature #DASH4DESSH 2026 t-shirt that is available at the DESSH Shop - http://desshshop.myspreadshop.com - or download a free paper bib to pin on your own shirt after registering, and take photos! 100% of the registration fees and donations are set aside for DESSH programs, education, and research. Let's come together no matter where we are!
