About this race
- Field trips for preschoolers–seniors to build vocabulary from real-life experiences,
- Extra learning materials for teachers, students, and families throughout the year,
- Workshops for parents and educators to improve communication strategies and support,
- Transportation for students to attend Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing activities,
- Technology like Hearing Assistive Technology to help students thrive in the classroom,
- Social events to help students build lifelong friendships and peer support,
- And fulfilling other critical program needs as they arise throughout the year.
The Wichita Falls Regional Day School Program for the Deaf serves over 100 Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students across Region 9, including Wichita Falls ISD, Burkburnett ISD, and neighboring SSAs. Your support helps us provide language-rich experiences from infancy through high school. 👕 Your registration includes a shirt!

Join us for a 5K (3.1-mile) run or walk! The race starts at Legacy High School, continues to Midwestern Pkwy E, turns down Brewster Street, loops halfway around the Career Education Center, and heads back to Legacy High School.
Deaf-initely Can Fun Run
Join us for a 1-mile walk or run at Legacy High School! The race starts at Legacy High School and heads toward Midwestern Pkwy E, but it makes a loop back before Midwestern Pkwy.
