Deganation ALL-Terrain Experience
About this race
This isn't a "scenic tour" from the sidelines—it’s an immersive, throttle-wide-open event designed specifically for riders who refuse to let physical challenges define their boundaries
The quiet of Springfield, Louisiana, is shattered by a thunderous, mechanical chorus. It is the Deganation ALL-Terrain Experience, where the guttural snarl of side-by-side engines signals a day of pure liberation. As riders strap into padded seats, where the roar of the exhaust vibrates through the chassis, a raw, rhythmic power that promises the thrill of the untamed.
With a collective surge, the convoy leaves the sterile black top for the winding, red-clay trails. Churning tires kick up clouds of ochre dust as the vehicles tackle the dips and climbs of the deep South. For the riders, every jolt and turn is the texture of freedom—the roar of the engine drowning out limitations and replacing them with the adrenaline of the open woods.
Back at the hub, the energy remains high but the pace softens. Beneath the pines, A Horse named Hope provides a steady, chestnut presence for Horse therapy, while Ruth Linder of the Linder Challenge guides hands through vibrant arts and crafts. Supported by the combined heart of Team Pack A Lunch, Deganation Foundation, Ainsley’s Angels of Baton Rouge, volunteers from Skidawgs, and the Wednesday Run Club, the day is a high-octane reminder that when we leave the pavement behind, the horizon belongs to everyone.

Alligator Tour
this is a separate (paid option) event location and day. 📍 Your Destination: Cajun Pride Swamp Tours Located right off I-10 at 110 Frenier Road, LaPlace, LA, this spot is a straight shot from the surrounding River Parishes and fits your 25-minute drive perfectly. The Fleet: They operate large, flat-bottomed pontoon tour boats that are fully Coast Guard-inspected. ADA Accessibility: Because they utilize stable, wide pontoon structures rather than erratic airboats, their main tour boats are highly accommodating and safe for guests with mobility needs. .The Vibe: Unlike open waters, this is a privately owned swamp. The alligators here are incredibly used to the sights and sounds of these specific pontoon boats, meaning they swim right on up, allowing you to get safely up close to Louisiana's most intimidating apex predators. ⏱️ Saturday Timing & Tips Arrival Window: They typically run multiple daily flights (including popular slots around 12:00 PM and 2:15 PM). You will want to map your drive to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled launch. The Check-In Process: When you park, head directly upstairs to the main ticket office to grab your boarding passes before making your way down to the docks. What to Pack: Bring some bug spray, sunglasses, and keep your phone fully charged—the captains are masters at calling the gators right up to the edge of the pontoon rails.
