About this race
Dia De Los Muertos is a day to honor those who passed before us. No matter the reason you are running or the person you are celebrating, whether you're running or walking your way through the route, we will be there to support you every step of the way.
Come celebrate a tradition through fitness and friends! Enjoy our community altar (runners are encouraged to bring photos of their departed loved ones). Dress in your festive best - calaveras, marigolds and all!

HOW TO DECIDE WHICH RACE IS FOR YOU:
Is it your first-ever race? Sign up yourself (and an accountability buddy) for our one mile Fun Run. This is a great race to introduce kids to running, also! #allthefunwithoutalltherunning
Is it your 5th race? Challenge yourself on our unique 5K course. 3.1 miles fun.
Is it your 500th race? Experienced runners are welcome to show us the way and have a great time!

Fun Run will receive a shirt.
Spirit Strider - 2025 Dia de los Muertos Lubbock 5K
5K participants will receive a shirt and finishers medal. They will also be eligible for prizes.
Las Calaveras - 2025 Dia de los Muertos Kids Run
It is a short/run walk for the kids. The kids will receive a special kids run ribbon.
