About this race
Join us for the second annual Do It Like Dylan 5K Run & Walk! We are returning to the scenic Cooper River Park in Pennsauken, New Jersey, on Saturday, November 14th, 2026. This isn't just a race, it’s a high-energy celebration of Dylan’s spirit, infectious joy, and the lasting impact he left on everyone he met.
We have packed the day with action to ensure there is something for everyone:
- 5K Run: A timed race with age-bracket awards for top finishers
- 5K Walk: A meaningful stroll through the course for all ages
- Kids Dash: A fun, shorter race for our youngest supporters
- Virtual 5K: Participate from anywhere in the world and run or walk at your own pace to support our mission.
- Basket Sweepstakes: Amazing prizes donated by local partners!
Every step you take helps fund causes close to Dylan’s heart: advancing critical Epilepsy research & legislation and empowering the next generation of Special Education educators. Your registration and presence turn this day into a powerful force for change.

This category is reserved for high school teams and youth organizations (HS and under) who wish to race, run or walk in honor of Dylan. He was known for his joy, kindness, and spirit of inclusion, values we hope to see carried forward as students and youth participants come together to support this meaningful cause. Please note: Participants in this category will not receive race shirts, so we encourage everyone to wear your school or team gear 👕 to show your spirit!
Virtual Run/Walk
Can’t join us in person on race day? You can still be part of the Do It Like Dylan 5K Run & Walk from anywhere! Register as a virtual participant and run or walk in your own community on November 15, 2025, in honor of Dylan’s memory and legacy. 🎽 All virtual participants will receive the official race t-shirt, which will be shipped directly to you before the event. 📸 Share your run or walk on Strava & social media using #DoItLikeDylan5K to celebrate with our community from afar!
