Dolly's Color Run
About the Event
Dolly's Imagination Library in Powhatan is pleased to announce its inaugural 5K color run. This family friendly fun run will start and end at Powhatan High School, and feature celebratory color powdering stations along the way. Registrations and donations will all go toward supporting early literacy through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library which sends an age-appropriate book, once a month, to each child in Powhatan, up to their fifth birthday.
Join fellow runners on April 25, 2026 for the Dolly's Color Run. It's a fantastic 5.1K featuring a flat and fast course in Powhatan.

Dolly's Color Run
Dolly's Color Run T-shirts and sunglasses are included in $30 registrations made by APRIL 8, 2026. Participants who register later, or who are under age 12 are encouraged to wear their own t-shirt and sunglasses. Youth who would like a Dolly's Color Run t-shirt and sunglasses can sign up for the non-discounted registration by April 8. Color powder is made from cornstarch and food grade colors and is safe for the skin and the environment. Wearing sunglasses is recommended.
