This is not a race.

This is a test of resolve.

Dominion Endurance presents the Founders Challenge — a deliberately simple endurance event designed to strip away comfort, pacing tricks, and excuses.

The rules are minimal. The suffering is not.

The Challenge

Participants will complete:

 • 1 mile ruck

 • Every hour, on the hour

 • For 12 consecutive hours

 • Dry Weight: do the minimum if you want…or push yourself!

-Men: 35lbs (minimum) 

-Women: 25lbs (minimum) 

When the clock hits the hour, you step off.

Miss an hour and your challenge is over.

The Final Mile

On the 12th and final mile, participants must add bonus weight:

 • Minimum additional weight: 10 lbs

 • Carry the weight any way you choose:

 • In your hands

 • On your shoulders

 • In your ruck

 • Dragged

There are no restrictions beyond one expectation:

Make it hard. Make it miserable.

Format

 • Virtual / Self-Directed

 • Complete the challenge anywhere

 • Choose your own route, terrain, and conditions

 • No aid stations. No spectators. No shortcuts.

Proof of Completion

Must Submit Virtual Results. (Follow Instructions on the Virtual Results Submission Page)

Finishers must submit proof including:

 • GPS activity showing 12 separate 1-mile efforts

 • Time stamps verifying each mile started on the hour

 • Photos or video strongly encouraged

No proof = no finish.

Entry Options

 • Free Entry — Complete the challenge for personal accountability. Digital Certificate of Completion 

 • $50 Optional Add on + Shipping — Finish the challenge and receive a digital certificate of completion and the Founders Personal Challenge Coin mailed to you after verification. Challenge Coin will only be mailed to the Continental United States!!!

All donations go straight back into Dominion Endurance to grow and put on more events. Eventually leading to in person events to take you to your limit and then past it.
