About this race
Join us on the beautiful C. Shane Wilbanks Trails around Lake Grapevine for the 26th annual Double Trouble 5K & 10K, Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers (RAW) club's signature fall event! Both the 5K and 10K races wind through scenic trails with breathtaking views of the lake.

This event is not only a celebration of running and community, but also an important fundraiser — it provides a significant portion of RAW’s annual operating budget, supporting our members and programs. In addition, 30% of this year’s proceeds will be donated to TBD.

The Double Trouble 5K race course winds through the trails around Lake Grapevine. The course is USATF certified and will be well marked on race day. For a course map and direction to the start, go to lgraw.com. We are using an IPICO chip timing system powered by Race Director software. The chips are designed to be attached to your shoe and are reliable as long as the chip is below your knee. Please remember to return your chip.
10K

5K and 10K
For people participating in both Race Events - The 5K at 8:00AM and the 10K at 8:50AM. Use this event if you wish to participate in both events.
Kids K Fun Run
Kids K Fun Run participants will receive a tech shirt and a participant ribbon. This race will not be chip timed, but the race clock will be running.
Kids 2K Fun Run
Kids 2K Fun Run participants will receive a tech shirt and a participant ribbon. This race will not be chip timed, but the race clock will be running.
5K Training Plan
"Couch to 5K" participants are entitled to attend weekly workouts with our RRCA-certified coaches and will receive specialized training plans to help prepare them for the 5K. All fitness levels are welcome. The 5K course is almost completely protected from traffic with the exception of a closed street at the start and one street crossing with a course marshal near the end. Timing will continue for over two hours from the start of the 5K. The price includes entry into the Double Trouble 5K race, along with a tech shirt and chip timing.
