Get ready to lace up your running shoes and make history at the Downtown Diamond Dash 5K, Asheville’s newest and most exciting road race! This inaugural event begins at HomeTrust Park, home of the Asheville Tourists, and takes runners on a scenic and energizing route through the heart of downtown Asheville before finishing in unforgettable fashion—on the baseball field’s warning track.

Race day kicks off with check-in opening at 7:00 AM (day before packet pick up to be announced), giving participants time to soak in the ballpark atmosphere and prepare for the 8:00 AM start. From the first step out of the stadium, runners will experience a dynamic course that blends the charm of Asheville’s vibrant streets with the thrill of a stadium finish.

As an official USA Track & Field certified course, runners can trust the accuracy of the 5K distance, ensuring every mile marker counts toward personal bests and race goals. USA Track & Field certification means the course has been precisely measured to meet national standards. Professional chip timing will be provided by Right on Time Productions, delivering accurate results and a seamless race-day experience.
