Downtown Mile for CASA
About this race
Please join us and support Rappahannock Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) on Saturday, September 19th, 2026. All proceeds will benefit the Rappahannock Area CASA, a local non-profit organization that supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy so that every child who has experienced abuse or neglect can be safe, have a permanent home, and have the opportunity to thrive. Visit rappahannockcasa.com for more information. This is a fun, downtown evening race with a fun post-race atmosphere.
Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series: The Downtown Mile for CASA is the 9th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix Series. All finishers will receive points toward the 12-race series.
Location: Charles Street, Downtown Fredericksburg
Race Waves:
5:00 pm - Wave 1 Females ages 15 and up
5:15 pm - Wave 2 Males ages 15 and up
5:30 pm - Wave 3 Youth ages 6-14
5:45 pm - Superhero Run This wave is open to all ages, families who wish to participate together, parents with strollers, walking participants, etc.
Shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by September 1, 2026.
Packet Pickup: River Rock Outfitters, 1382 Carl D. Silver Pkwy, Fredericksburg, VA 22401 from 4 pm - 6 pm, September 18, 2026.
Race Day Registration and packet pickup will be held from 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. Register on your smartphone or tablet at the event. Shirts are only guaranteed to those who register by September 1st.
