Dragon Run for Courage 5K/1M & The "14" Challenge

WHO:  Runners of all ages.  Walkers are also invited to participate using the same course. The race will follow a slightly new this year through the streets of Royersford.
 
WHAT:  Dragon Run for Courage 5K Run/Walk will benefit The Conor McKenna Foundation and Jake's Dragon Foundation. Conor and Jake both  fought pediatric cancer  in their teenage years. Their fight and courage are the basis for  their respective foundations. The funds raised will provide a scholarship in Conor's name. In Jake's  memory  local pediatric cancer families will be supported through gift cards as well as funding research for pediatric cancer.   
 
WHERE:  Spring-Ford 9th Grade Center, 400 S. Lewis Rd, Royersford.   Race begins in the rear parking lot of 9th Grade Center on Green St. 

The "14" Challenge

WHO:  Walker, Runners,  Push Up Lovers

WHERE: Virtual

WHAT:  An opportunity to support Childhood Cancer Awareness for the whole month of September and get yourself ready for the Dragon Run/Walk for Courage.  Commit to running 14 miles in the month of September OR commit to walking 14 minutes a day OR commit to doing 14 pushups a day.  Why?  Because Jake and Conor battled cancer at the age of 14 and no child at any age should have to hear the words "you have cancer."   This challenge begins on September 1st and goes until September 30th.  Special bundle pricing for both events.
