About the Event
Welcome to the 34th Easley FireCracker Frolic 5k presented once again by the Easley Lions Club!
The race is run on the friendly streets of Easley SC and starts in downtown at Old Market Square. The entire community is welcome to this event! Wear your RED WHITE AND BLUE...You can run, jog, or walk Please note that the course is not closed off and there could be some cars on the road. We will have intersections monitored by Police and Lions Club Volunteers out on the course to monitor directions. In the event of rain the race will still be run, but if there is lightning the race start will be delayed until it's safe The course will be the same as the previous years starting and ending at Old Market Square Early Packet Pickup: Academy Sports in Easley from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday July 3rd. You can register for the race until 7:20 AM the morning of the race Race Day Registration will be from 6:00-7:10 AM right beside the Start Line REGISTER BY JUNE 21st, 2026 TO BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT. There will be no more shirts available after that day*NEW THIS YEAR*
ALL finishers will receive a Finisher Medal
Age Group Awards will be as follows:
- 0 - 14
- 15 - 19
- 20 - 24
- 25 - 29
- 30 - 34
- 35 - 39
- 40 - 44
- 45 - 49
- 50 - 54
- 55 - 59
- 60 - 64
- 65-69
- 70-74
- 75+
There will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Overall Female and Male
The Firecracker Frolic is a RED, White and Blue Family Fun Event! We will still give out our unusual prizes and have drawings for more unusual gifts

- Glasses and eye exams for individuals in Pickens County that need assistance
- Lions Vision Services
- Storm Eye Institute
- Leader Dog School
- Rocky Bottom Camp for the Blind

- United Christian Ministries Feet for Heat
- Easley City Workers' Cookout
- My Good Days (Medical assistance for Chronic Illnesses)
- Alabaster House
