Elementary Fitness Run

The 46th Annual Elementary School Fitness Fun Run, Walk and Run will be held at Mill Race Park on Saturday, May 2nd beginning at 2:00 pm.  The run is hosted by the Columbus Running Club and is open to ALL elementary school students in Bartholomew AND surrounding counties.

Schedule of Events:

Friday, May 1, 2026 – White River Running Company

11:00 am – 4:00 pm – Race Bib/T-shirt Pickup

Saturday, May 2, 2026 – Mill Race Park Amphitheater 

1:00 – 2:00 pm – Race Bib/T-shirt Pickup / New Registrations

Predicted Race Schedule (Approximate times, please arrive by 2:00 pm)

2:00 pm – PreK & Kindergarten Race (400 meter)

2:15 pm – 1st & 2nd Grade Race (800 meter)

2:35 pm – 3rd & 4th Grade Race (1500 meter)

2:50 pm – 5th & 6th Grade Race (1500 meter)

Parking:

Parking will be limited in the park.  Cummins lot is available or plan to park someplace in downtown Columbus close to the park and walk.  Please consider this when planning your arrival time and be sure to arrive early.

Registration/Race Details:

Registration will be located in front of the amphitheater.  Please visit registration if you did not pick up your child’s race number/t-shirt at White River Running Company on Friday.  Taking the time to stop by White River Running Company on Friday will save you on long line wait time on race day!  T-shirts are limited – must register by 4/17 to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
