Elgin Days Virtual & In-Person Family Fun 5K Walk, Run, or Ride for Jacobson Memorial Hospital Care Center & Clinics

The Jacobson Memorial Hospital Foundation is sponsoring an In-Person and Virtual 5K Walk/Run/Bike in conjunction with Elgin days on June 6, 2026.  Come join the family fun event that will go through the beautiful city of Elgin, ND.  The top female and male runner completing the 5K will each receive a $25 Elgin Bucks certificate and every participant that walks, runs. or rides in-person will be entered in a chance to win a $25 Elgin Bucks certificate.  If you think that the 5K is more than you can walk, run or ride, we encourage you to still participate and to go as far as you can. Upon completion of event, every in-person participant will receive snacks & refreshments and can check to see if they were drawn for 1 of the 4 $25 Elgin Bucks Certificates to be given away.

Race time is 8:00 am MT with registration beginning at 7:30 am in the lower-level parking lot of the hospital.  Bikers will start 8:00 and any bikers under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.  The walkers and runners will start a few minutes after 8:00.

There is a virtual event as well if you cannot attend the event in Elgin.  Please sign up online and complete the run/walk/ride by June 6, 2026.  One lucky virtual participant will be drawn for $25 in cash.

There is no fee required to participate but we encourage a donation of $20 per person, $50 per family, or whatever you can give to help the Hospital and clinics supported by the Foundation. You can give your donation at the registration table the day of the event.  If you are competing virtually and would like to donate in support of the hospital & clinics, please send your donation to JMHCC Foundation, 601 East St. N, Elgin, ND 58533 and make a note that it is for the Elgin Days 5K Walk, Run, Ride event.
