About:
Elmwood Volunteer Rescue provides emergency medical services to Elmwood, Murdock, and Wabash areas in Nebraska with a crew of 18 volunteer members. These services are provided 24/7 to the rural community with funding coming solely from patient transport, community donations, and fundraising efforts. Money fundraised goes towards supplies for patient care, personal protective equipment, equipment updates and maintenance, ambulance maintenance, ongoing training for members, and tuition reimbursement for new volunteers. Elmwood Volunteer Rescue strives to reach out to our community by donating time to local sporting events, visiting and hosting school-age children, providing scholarships to students pursuing degrees in healthcare, and participating in parades. Funds being raised to help purchase new equipment for our ambulances!
