Ember Mud Run
About this race
The East Fork Ember Foundation, in partnership with the Douglas County Rodeo, is hosting the inaugural Ember Mud Run, a sanctioned rodeo obstacle event to be staged on the historic grounds of Genoa, Nevada. The event is expected to draw over 1,000 competitive racers and spectators from across the region.
100% of net proceeds from race registrations, sponsorships, and vendor activties will directly benefit the East Fork Ember Foundation — the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner of the East Fork Fire Protection District serving Douglas County NV — funding cutting-edge rescue equipment, first responder training, paramedic readiness programs and so much more. Ember Mud Run 2027
ONE MISSION. FIVE TEAMMATES. FINISH TOGETHER. Think you’ve got the grit? Grab five teammates and take on the East Fork Ember Foundation Mud Run! This isn’t an individual race—it’s a team challenge from the first obstacle to the finish line. Teams of 5 start together. Teams of 5 finish together. Run it. Climb it. Crawl it. Get muddy. Help each other through every obstacle, because your team only qualifies when all five teammates cross the finish line together.
