Cycling to End Cancer

Cycling to End Cancer is an event perfect for cyclists and bike riders of all levels. The idea is for each rider to complete as many miles during the month of October as possible. Riding can be inside or outside on any kind of bicycle or stationary bike. It is not about speed or even distance; it is about raising money for colon cancer research and patient care, and focusing for 30 days on helping others. Each rider sets a cycling mileage goal and a fundraising goal. Eben, who cycled through chemo, is focused on riding 1,000 miles throughout the Bethesda and Potomac areas of Maryland and raising $20,000, while Roger is committed to riding 350 miles (seems like a stretch, but we’ll see) mostly indoors with a fundraising goal of $20,001. While Eben and Roger take this very personally, cycling goals can be next to nothing. And, if you Raise or Donate $250 or more we will give you a cool T-shirt.
