Join Apex Promoz for the 2026 Englewood Beach Manatee Mosey 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk as we celebrate one of Florida's most beloved marine animals during Manatee Awareness Month!
Every fall, cooler temperatures signal the beginning of manatee migration as these gentle giants make their way toward Florida's warm-water springs and coastal habitats. During this time, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) encourages everyone to help protect manatees by slowing down in designated manatee zones and remaining aware while enjoying Florida's waterways.
The Englewood Beach Manatee Mosey is more than just a race—it's an opportunity to celebrate Florida's incredible natural resources while enjoying one of the most scenic race locations on the Gulf Coast. Whether you're chasing a personal best, walking with family and friends, or simply looking for a fun morning at the beach, this event is designed for participants of all ages and abilities.
After crossing the finish line, stick around to enjoy the beach, celebrate your accomplishment, and help spread awareness about protecting these gentle creatures for generations to come.
