2017 - Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Road Runs

The Tri Fall Creek Falls Triathlon, a popular Olympic distance triathlon, has a 10K & 5K runs Saturday morning using basically the same run course as the triathlon. The events take place at Tennessee's most popular state park and is centrally located between Knoxville, Nashville and Chattanooga, making it very accessible. The unique awards and bluegrass music are highlights of a wonderful time to be had by all in this quite rural setting. Race start time is 8 AM Central Standard Time. Arrive at site no later than 7:30 AM CST for ample time for parking, packet pickup and getting ready for event starting promptly at 8 AM CST. RACE LOCATION – Fall Creek Falls State Park, Pikeville, TN (please allow extra travel time – park is remote & rural but worth the trip!) BOOK ROOMS EARLY - Inn at Fall Creek Falls - 800-250-8610 - This is only hotel within about 10 miles of park. Nice accommodations of rooms and cabin homes & right across lake from transition. Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers & top three male and female masters. Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over & top 3 Clydesdale & Athena.
