About the Event
Fed with Love 5K & 1K is a community-centered walk/run created to support, uplift, and advocate for families during the postpartum journey. Hosted by Loving the Mama Postpartum Services, this event brings together parents, caregivers, birth workers, and community members to raise awareness for lactation support and equitable access to postpartum care.
Whether you run, walk, or stroll with your little one, every step taken helps fund education, resources, and support for families who deserve to feel seen, nourished, and held during the fourth trimester and beyond.
This family-friendly event includes a 5K run/walk, a 1K fun run, and a virtual participation option, welcoming all fitness levels and stages of parenthood.

5K Run/Walk
The Fed with Love 5K Walk/Run is designed for everyone! Whether you’re running your first 5K, shooting for a PR, walking with friends, or strolling with your little one. This 3.1-mile route welcomes all paces and all stages of life, creating space for community, connection, and movement with purpose. Rooted in support for postpartum families, this experience invites parents, caregivers, birth workers, and community members to come together in a meaningful way. Strollers are welcome, and participants are encouraged to move in a way that feels right for their body. Walk, run, or stroll, every step supports a fed family.
1K Kids Fun Run
The Fed with Love 1K Kids Fun Run is a short, family-friendly experience designed especially for toddlers (starting at age 3) through age 12. This 1K (0.62 mile) route creates a fun and supportive space for little ones to move, explore, and be part of the event in their own way. Children can run, walk, or skip their way to the finish line, with parents and caregivers alongside them for encouragement and support. This is all about participation, confidence, and joy!
Virtual 5K Run/Walk
Can’t join us in person? You can still be part of Fed with Love from wherever you are. Our Virtual 5K allows you to walk, run, or stroll your miles on your own time, in your own space, while still supporting families in the postpartum journey. Whether you’re at home with your little one, out in your neighborhood, or gathering with your own community, your participation helps expand access to lactation education and postpartum care. Complete your miles anytime during race week and share your experience with our community using #FedWithLoveMiles. No matter where you are, every step supports a fed family.
