About this race
The course winds along the scenic and remote river trails that embody the driftless region. You will run from Sparta to La Crosse, pass through classic rural Wisconsin towns, and finishing at the beautiful Riverside Park in downtown La Crosse.
The Festival Foods La Crosse Marathon is hosted by the River City Running Club (RCRC). RCRC is a local La Crosse Non-Profit focused on giving back to our greater community. Thanks to participants and sponsors alike the La Crosse Marathon donates over $30,000 back into the community annually.
