Bring the whole family for a morning filled with fun, fitness, and community spirit! Fiesta Footsteps for Education, sponsored by NEISD Benefits & Wellness and the North East Educational Foundation, kicks off with an exciting Kids Color Fun Run, followed by a lively 5K for participants of all ages. After the race, enjoy our Health & Wellness Fair featuring local vendors, resources, and activities designed to support a healthy lifestyle. Join us for a day that celebrates wellness, togetherness, and education!

Event Timeline
- 7:00 am – Packet Pick-Up and Vendor Fair begins
- 8:00 am – Kids Fun Run Begins (Ages 14 and under)
We encourage the kiddos to run on their own, but parents/guardians are welcome to jog alongside children ages 5 and under. - 8:30 am – 5K Run/Walk begins (The 5K is Chip Timed)

Packet Pick-Up
- Campus Employee Pick-Up: Packets will be delivered to the campus you selected during registration on April 27th.
- Community Pick-Up: Pick up your packet April 28th, 7 am – 6 pm at the North East Educational Foundation Office located at 8961 Tesoro Dr, Suite 609, San Antonio, TX 78217. Please bring your ID.

We need volunteers before the event and during the race! This is a great opportunity for high school and college students, retired NEISD employees, or anyone interested in supporting our mission.

5K Run & Walk - NEISD Employee (Must Use NEISD Employee ID, Will be Verified)
Until employee verification has been confirmed, your registration status will be marked as pending. You will receive a confirmation email from Foundation@neisd.net once approved.
1k Kid's Color Fun Run
Please note that the 1K Kids Color Fun Run is a color event. During the run, colored powder made from cornstarch will be tossed into the air and onto participants for added fun and excitement. The powder is non-toxic and washable, but children may get colorful from head to toe! We recommend that participants: Wear white or old clothing Consider protective eyewear if sensitive Be aware of any corn or dust sensitivities By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge and consent to their child’s participation in this color portion of the event.
