## Additional Event Information ### Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the First Baptist Church of Pharr Jesus Saves 5K Run! Whether you're an experienced runner, a first-time participant, or simply looking for a fun morning with family and friends, we invite you to join us for a day of fitness, fellowship, and community. This event is designed to bring our South Texas community together while promoting healthy living and supporting the outreach ministries of First Baptist Church of Pharr. ### Race Information **Date:** Saturday, October 3, 2026 **Location:** Precinct 2 Hike and Bike Trail 1901 S. Cage Blvd. Pharr, TX 78577 Participants may choose from: * Timed 5K Run (professionally chip timed) * 1-Mile Community Walk/Run (non-competitive) ### Registration * Early Bird Registration: **$25** * Regular Registration: **$30** Every registered participant will receive: * Official race T-shirt* * Finisher medal * Bib number * Professional chip timing (5K participants only) * Online race results (5K participants only) *Register early to help guarantee your preferred shirt size. ### Race Day Schedule * 6:30 AM – Check-In & Packet Pickup * 7:40 AM – Welcome & Opening Prayer * 7:50 AM – Group Warm-Up * 8:00 AM – 5K Run Begins * 8:05 AM – 1-Mile Walk Begins * 9:00 AM – Awards Ceremony * 9:30 AM – Fellowship, Refreshments & Community Activities ### Awards Awards will be presented to: * Top Overall Male * Top Overall Female * 1st–3rd Place Finishers (age groups may be added based on participation) Every registered participant will receive a finisher medal to commemorate the event. ### Course Amenities To help make your race experience enjoyable, the event will include: * Water stations along the course * Restroom facilities at the start/finish area * Clearly marked course * Volunteer course marshals * Free participant parking ### After the Race Stay after the race to enjoy refreshments, music, fellowship, photos, and opportunities to connect with local businesses, sponsors, and members of First Baptist Church of Pharr. ### Event Mission The Jesus Saves 5K Run exists to bring people together through faith, fellowship, and healthy living. All proceeds beyond event expenses will support the outreach ministries and future community programs of First Baptist Church of Pharr as we continue serving families throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
