Group training program for Glass City Marathon & Cap City Half Marathon (Winter/Spring Season) and Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Half & Full Marathon & Detroit Free Press Half & Full Marathon (Summer/Fall Season).
Dates
2026 Annual Membership (Beginner & Intermediate Training Program): January 5th - September 20th, 2026
Seasonal Memberships:
Winter/Spring Training Season: January 5th - April 26, 2026
Summer/Fall Training Season: June 20th - October 18th, 2026
Weekly Group Training Runs (Summer/Fall):
Saturdays at 7:00am - LONG RUN GROUP TRAINING
Wednesdays at 6:00pm - GRIT WORKOUTS (Track, Intervals, Hills, Strength)
Run Locations
Our workout locations vary on a weekly basis. They are centrally located in Toledo, OH. We utilize Wildwood Metropark as well as run from our store.

Group training long runs (Saturdays) with several pace groups (run + run/walk interval)

Coach-led "GRIT Workouts" (Wednesdays). These workouts focus on building grit, strength and speed. Workout types include track work, hill repeats, intervals, etc., and are designed for runners and walkers of all skill levels.

Important Program Dates: Summer/Fall 2026
June 20th - 16 week build starts for Columbus + Detroit Half + Full Marathons
September 20th - Garmin Marathon Series (happening in Toledo). Though we are not specifically training for this race, trainees could use the half or 10K series as a training run for a later fall race.
Cost
1/2 + Full Marathon Group Training = $115/season, or $200 for the full year.
How far do I need to be able to run before getting started?
Our program is designed for people of all experiences and skill levels. For the half marathon and full marathon Training Program, we suggest being able to run 3 miles prior to the start date. We will teach you everything you need to know to get started or everything you need to reach new running goals!
What do I need to get started?
Nothing, except a desire to get moving!

Train to run a 5K in the fall! Our goal race will be the Garmin Marathon Series 5K happening in September. 8 Week Training Plan Workouts: Saturdays at 7:00am - GROUP TRAINING Wednesdays at 6:00pm - GROUP TRAINING Workout Locations: TBD - UT/West Toledo/Sylvania area.
