About this race
Welcome to the Florida Outlaw Ultra, a bold new trail-running experience at Carney Island Recreation & Conservation Area on beautiful Lake Weir in Marion County, Florida.
Built for runners who crave something beyond the ordinary, the Florida Outlaw Ultra combines rugged Old Florida scenery, lakefront views, sandhill terrain, wooded trails, wetlands, and wide-open spaces into one unforgettable endurance challenge.
Race Options:
20K Trail Run
Four laps. 20 kilometers. A perfect taste of the Florida Outlaw experience for runners who aren't ready to spend all day—or all night—on the trail.
6 Hour Trail Run
Six hours. One goal: rack up as many completed 5K loops as you can before the clock runs out.
12 Hour Trail Run
From morning into the evening, settle into your rhythm and discover just how far twelve hours can take you.
24 Hour Trail Run
The ultimate Florida Outlaw challenge. Race through the day, into the night, and toward sunrise. How many miles can you cover in 24 hours?
24 Hour Relay
Gather your Outlaw crew and tackle 24 hours together. Strategize, rotate, rest, recover and keep piling up the miles until time expires.
Aid Station/Support Crew Area:
One aid station will be available at the start/finish line area. The aid station will have hydration, first aid, fun snacks, and electrolytes. This area will also be designated for support crew and team tents so that you have access to your personal gear and supplies for each loop.
Amenities:
All participants will receive a long-sleeved cotton shirt, wooden finisher medal, Florida Outlaw Ultra patch and decal, and a commemorative race metal sign to proudly display on your wall of achievements!
Individual Awards 6/12/24 Hour Events:
Awards will be given to the top 5 males and females in each race. Awards are based on the completed lap total, not the overall pace.
Individual Awards 20K Event:
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female Overall, and top 3 finishers in each 10 year age group, male and female.
Relay Team Awards:
Awards will recognize the top-performing relay teams. Final divisions and award categories will be announced prior to race day.

6 Hour Trail Run

12 Hour Trail Run

24 Hour Trail Run
Trail runners complete as many 5K Laps as possible within a 24 hour time window. The ultimate Florida Outlaw challenge. Race through the day, into the night, and toward sunrise. How many miles can you cover in 24 hours?
24 Hour Relay Team
Gather your Outlaw crew and take on 24 hours together! Strategize, rotate, rest, recover, and keep stacking up the miles until the clock runs out. Your base team entry includes up to 3 runners, and teams may expand to a maximum of 6 members. Additional team members 4–6 may be added for $100 per runner. Build your crew, create your strategy, and see just how far you can go together.
20K Trail Run
