About this race
Join us on Sunday, October 11th at 9:30AM as the 5th annual Flutie 5K for Autism: Providence moves down the road to Roger Williams Park! Together with our event partners, we will once again make a difference on the Rhode Island Autism Community through our incredible local Charity Partners.
Join fellow runners on October 11, 2026 for the Flutie 5K for Autism: Providence, RI. It's a fantastic 5K, 2.4K featuring a flat and fast course in Providence.

5K Run
For participants that wish to run the 5K race from start to finish!
Student Participation (5K Run)
For students currently enrolled at Johnson & Wales University that wish to compete in the 5K Run.
Student Participation (1/2 5K Walk or Roll)
For students currently enrolled at Johnson & Wales who wish to participate non-competitively by walking or rolling the abbreviated course.
5k Run (Chirichella Adaptive Division)
The Chirichella Adaptive Division welcomes athletes with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities to compete in select Flutie 5K events for a grand prize!
Flutie 5K Your Way!
This is a virtual event where participants can run, walk, or roll wherever they are at a location and date of their choosing. Shirts and bibs will be mailed out to participants who choose this option.
Wheelchair
5K Roll (Wheelchairs, Handcycles, and Duo Teams)
For Wheelchairs, Handcycles, and Duo Teams that wish to compete in the Flutie 5K! Please contact 5K@flutiefoundation.org to receive custom registration and accommodation support to complete your registration! Wheelchairs, Handcycles, and Duo Teams that do not wish to compete in the 5K can select the 1/2 5K option!
Student Participation (5K Roll)
For students currently enrolled at Johnson and Wales University who wish to compete in the 5K Roll.
Walking
1/2 5K Walk or Roll
Walk or Roll on an abbreviated course! (This is a non-timed, non-scored event for folks who plan to participate non-competitively)
