About this race
ForeShore Adventure Run is back for year ELEVEN. The lakeshore’s premiere 5k adventure run returns to Pere Marquette Beach on May 16, 2026, with new obstacles but the same mission: helping people to overcome life’s obstacles. Each registered participant receives a short-sleeved, moisture-wicking t-shirt.
Your ticket purchase directly feeds the hungry and shelters the homeless; 100% of the proceeds support Muskegon Rescue Mission’s food pantry and homeless shelters. Will you join us in helping our neighbors?

5K Run - Individual Competitive
The ForeShore Adventure Race will feature 25 obstacles on a wet and sandy 5k course.
5K Adventure Fun Run (Individual and Teams)
The ForeShore Adventure Race will feature 25 obstacles on a wet and sandy 5k course.
5K Run - Team Competitive
The ForeShore Adventure Race will feature over 20 obstacles on a wet and sandy 5k course. A team consists of 4 runners. Participants are timed individually then those times are added together to present awards based on the cumulative time for each team.
