Fort4Fitness Kids Marathon Volunteers

The Fort4Fitness Kid's Marathon (Kit's Club) is designed for kids ages 4-14 and has been created to promote exercise, wellness, and healthy lifestyles for kids and their families through a variety of unique training programs and events. Fort4Fitness operates under a simple premise: the sooner we can instill healthy lifestyles in our kids, the better health they will have later in life. A major contributor to a healthy lifestyle is getting regular exercise.

The goal of Kit's Club is for each registered child to complete a marathon a bit at a time throughout the summer by logging miles through walking, running, biking, swimming, playing baseball, and more. They rack up 25 miles or more during the summer and then complete their final 1.2 miles at the Fall Festival on Friday night. The Fort Wayne Running Club handles packet pick-up as well as providing Course Marshals and Finish Line Attendants.

This "Race" has been set up to track Fort Wayne Running Club Volunteers supporting the Kids Marathon (Kit's Club).

Note that we are using this site also to sign up to support the club booth at F4F.  These "booth" tasks support the Fort Wayne Running Club directly and not the Kids Marathon.  Club members are encouraged to support the board in manning the booth since most of your Board members already are volunteering for various aspects of F4F at the same time.  Thanks!
