Miles Challenge
You have one month to complete this challenge (Sep 1 thru Sep 30) by running as many times as you need, anywhere, to complete 78.6 miles. The virtual course starts at the Market and South Streets in Frederick. Head south on Market street to pass Lincoln Elementary, the home of FSRC’s very own Lincoln Panther Program (an MSM beneficiary), then follow Center and South back to Market Street, past our other beneficiary City Youth Matrix at 22 S Market, then continue up Market Street past the YMCA to the Utica Covered Bridge (1850) in Thurmont. It’s not too far to the Loys Station Covered Bridge (1880) and a quick jog to Roddy Road Covered Bridge (1856), and then on up to Pennsylvania. You’ll pass Jacks Mountain Covered Bridge (1890) near Liberty Mountain Resort and on to Sachs Covered Bridge (1854) near Gettysburg. Then head South passing Loys Station Covered Bridge again before finishing at the Market Street Mile finish line on Market Street.
